Kaioshin

Seven years after the Cell Games, on the very day Gokou was allowed to return from the dead to compete, Kaioshin entered and made a mysterious entrance (hovering over to Gokou, shaking hands with him, saying that he was looking forward to fighting him, and leaving without leaving his name). Next time we see him, the line up of the tournament is being decided and we find that his name is Shin. He gets paired off with Piccolo. When Shin and Piccolo enter the ring, Piccolo senses something odd about him and gives up, making Shin victorious by default. After they leave the ring, Piccolo asks if he's the Grand Kai, which Shin denies. He somehow finds that he's the Supreme Kai (how, I can't remember...-_-;;;), but doesn't reveal his secret to the other Z senshi. Before Kibito fights Gohan, Shin tells the Z senshi not to interfere, no matter what. The Z senshi don't trust him, until Piccolo reveals that he is the Supreme Kai. The Z senshi then agree. After Majin Spopovitch and Majin Yamu steal Gohan's energy (he powered up to SS while in his fight with Kibito), Shin takes off after them. The others follow. On the way to Babidi's hideout, Shin tells the story of Buu (and that Babidi is following in his father's (Bibidi) footsteps). When they arrive at the hideout, Shin recognizes Dabura, King of the Dead. Dabura eventually flys up to the hiding heroes and spits on Piccolo and Krillin, but kills Kibito (who had arrived with a healed Gohan). Dabura flys off, and Shin says that the only way to save Krillin and Piccolo is to kill Dabura. Gokou, Gohan and Vegeta then enter the hideout, and Shin follows (though he believes it foolish). As Gokou and Vegeta fight, Shin is stunned at the power they possess. Later on, as Dabura fights Gohan, Dabura discovers that Vegeta has evil in his heart. Dabura halts the fight, and says that he has found a warrior that could defeat them all. The Saiyans had no clue who he was speaking of, but Shin discovered it to be...Vegeta! Babidi takes over Vegeta, turning him into a Majin. Babidi teleports all of them to the tournament ring, where Vegeta challenges Gokou. Gokou accepts, but Shin steps in between them, and tells Gokou that if he wants to fight that badly he'd have to kill him, too. Gokou fires up a blast and aims it and Shin's head. Reluctently, Shin steps aside, knowing that he is no match for the Saiyan. While Gokou and Vegeta fight (somewhere far from the ring), Shin and Gohan return to the hideout to destroy Buu's egg before it can hatch. When they reach the egg they find that all of the energy lost by the warring Gokou and Vegeta was sent to the egg, giving it power. Gohan tries to prevent the hatching, but fails. Shin tries to get Gohan to run with him, but Buu hatches. Instead of a fighter, pink dust comes from the egg (causing Kaioshin to laugh with delight, and Babidi to cry). But then, the dust takes the form of a large, baby-like Majin Buu (causing Babidi to laugh, and Shin to stand there looking terrified). After Dabura is "killed" by Majin Buu, Babidi orders Buu to kill Gohan and Shin. Gohan grabs Shin by the arm and flys off as fast as he can. Buu catches up and hits Gohan with enough force to send him sprawling on the ground, leaving Shin to defend himself. Shin eventually ends up lying badly injured on the ground. Gohan gets up and tries to defend Shin from Buu, but Buu blast Gohan away. Shin telepathically destroys the energy ball, preventing Gohan from flying into space and saving his life. A still alive Dabura throws a spear at Buu and warns Babidi that he cannot control him for long. Babidi refuses to listen and orders Buu to kill Dabura. Buu turns Dabura into a cookie and eats him. Buu is about to eat Shin, but then Vegeta blows up Babidi's hideout because he knows that he won't get a truly good fight with Gokou if he keeps getting distracted by Buu. Vegeta fights Buu and self-destructs, saving Shin. Buu survives and he and Babidi take off. Shin goes to find Gohan. Kibito is revived, and heals Shin. They take the healed Gohan with them to Kaioshin Kai, because he wants Gohan to pull out the Zed sword, as he believes that he's the only one capable of defeating Buu. Gohan succeeds, and begins training with the Zed sword. Gokou comes to Kaioshin Kai. When Gohan completes his training, he and Gokou want to test the sword's strength, but they end up breaking it. This releases an ancient (15 generations before Shin) Kaioshin called Rou Dai Kaioshin. Rou Dai Kaioshin explains the Patora earrings, and Shin wants to try them out; so he gives one to Kibito and tells him to put it on. The two fuse. Now, Shin (or Kaibito) has Kibito's long, white hair and wardrobe, though he maintained his voice and personality. After they fused, Rou Dai Kaioshin tells them that the fusion is permanent.
